Redecker's stainless steel Lime Catcher "Kessy" is an eco-friendly tool designed to prevent limescale buildup in water-heating appliances. This 4.5 cm (1.75 inch) mesh ring is placed directly inside kettles or pots, where its specialized stainless steel surface absorbs calcium and mineral deposits naturally during the boiling process. By capturing scale, it helps maintain heating efficiency and reduces energy costs without the need for harsh chemicals. Maintenance is simple: once the mesh turns visibly white with deposits, you remove it, let it dry, and tap it gently to dislodge the scale before reuse.
